With private equity investment in 2023, and a new CEO joining the business in August 2024, we are at the start of a journey to redefine who we are, and articulate that to the market in a meaningful and impactful way. Growing and maintaining our existing accounts will be pivotal to ensuring the business achieves its commercial ambitions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Lead Engineer or Architect, with strong hands-on expertise in Java. Experience with TypeScript and Vue is desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery practices.
• Mentorship experience with the ability to guide and inspire more junior engineers.
• Experience with relational databases and strong problem-solving skills in database design and optimisation.
• Experience with methodologies such as TDD, BDD, Pair Programming, Agile and Lean, Clean code principles and DevOps.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Have high EQ as well as IQ to work with empathy in an organisation that has a unique culture and talented people.
• Collaborative non-hierarchical work style.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
