Responsibilities
- Work with the Store Manager to share joint responsibility for day-to-day running of the store
- Work up to 45 hours per week (extra time paid or taken as time off in lieu)
- Lead by example as a coâmanager of a small team (4â6 staff)
- Motivate your team to deliver a great customer experience and hit sales targets
- When customers are bewildered by choice, reassure them with honest advice and build rapport
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a retail customerâservice or sales environment
- Supervisory or junior management experience within retail or field sales, ideally in a hardâgoods environment
- Practical knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the product range
- Track record of selling products and meeting sales targets
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and a teamâplayer attitude
- Accuracy, numeracy, and basic computer literacy
- High selfâmotivation and a canâdo attitude
- Desire to succeed individually and as a team coâleader
