As our Senior Trade & Shopper Marketing Manager, you'll help strengthen retail execution and measurement across the LEGO® Group. During this 12-month contract, you'll connect trade and shopper marketing with commercial thinking, retail execution and evidence-based decisions. You'll help develop frameworks, processes and capabilities that make our retail marketing investment more effective.
We're pleased to share that we offer a hybrid working week arrangement called Best of Both, requiring 3 days in the office location and 2 days from home if you wish. Relocation & visa assistance is not offered for this position. The closing date for all applications is 16th November 2026.
Do you have what it takes
- Significant hands-on retail marketing experience, ideally within fashion, beauty, apparel, consumer electronics or fast-moving consumer goods.
- Delivered shopper marketing plans, both eCommerce and offline.
- Worked with B2B retail customers on retail or shopper marketing activity.
- Built Retail Execution plans or frameworks for retail marketing activity.
- Led change management when introducing new tools, processes or capabilities.
- Created case-for-change narratives to build stakeholder support for new initiatives.
- Familiarity with data-systems & how digital systems/products work would be a significant advantage (E.g. how data flows from front-line apps to data lakes & visualization layers, understanding how measurement tools in the market capture data).
What you'll build
- Help define our Trade Marketing development and measurement framework across online, offline and omnichannel retail marketing.
- Establish relevant metrics and approaches for assessing retail marketing effectiveness with Sales, Trade Marketing and Analytics & Insights teams.
- Bring external retail perspectives into the team, exploring developments inside and outside the toy category to identify opportunities and potential pilots.
- Identify end-user needs and help translate them into practical digital solutions and improved business processes.
- Build clear case‑for‑change stories that help teams understand and adopt new approaches for retail planning, execution tracking & measuring ROI.
If you've worked in a role where you've combined Retail Trade Marketing development or Sales development with change management, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is connecting commercial needs with practical solutions that work for end users.
Life on the team
You'll join the Retail Centre of Excellence within Trade & Shopper Marketing. You'll work closely with colleagues across Digital Products, Analytics & Insights and Sales Planning. Curiosity matters here. So does collaboration, taking ownership and having the confidence to challenge existing thinking with evidence. You'll bring an outside perspective while learning the LEGO Group's own retail marketing context.
What success looks like
You'll help make Retail Trade Marketing Execution more structured, measurable and useful for the teams putting it into practice. You'll balance the needs of commercial and digital teams, navigate competing priorities and help colleagues adopt improved processes.
