Are you a visionary product manager equipped to shape the play of the future? We are looking for an experienced product manager whose passion is to help children be creative and learn through play. This product manager would be responsible for defining our next-generation, technology-enabled play experiences as well as partnering with our technology domain teams to deliver world-class, high-quality products that create fun and memorable play moments for children and adults alike.

What you’ll be doing

  • User Champion – You are the voice of the user inside the team. You will immerse yourself in user insights and trends to develop compelling opportunities in your product area that deliver value to our users and the business. Define the product vision, strategy and roadmaps for your product area and gain buy-in throughout the organization. Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of the product. Understand the financials involved with product development to ensure product decisions are grounded in user and business value.
  • Problem Solver – Keen to make things better and up for the challenge of tackling unknowns. You are curious and questioning – not afraid to ask questions to ensure we identify root causes, so that we design the right solutions. Always see the bigger picture of the product, whilst maintaining focus on the right priorities and the right time. Navigate complex requirements and partner with the team to reach considered decisions throughout the product development cycle.
  • Stakeholder Manager – Working with others seamlessly, hearing their needs, whilst being heard. You communicate user needs, product strategy and roadmaps to a variety of audiences. Share the knowledge by translating the complex into easy-to-understand concepts. Craft inspirational demos that convey the product vision and user benefits, whilst keeping the play at the centre.
  • Delivery – Define, build, launch and grow exceptional products. Integrate play value, usability studies, research, and market analysis into technical product requirements to deliver playful products. Drive outstanding outcomes at every stage of the cycle – ensuring what gets built is the right thing for our users, done well, and continuously delights our users.

What we are looking for

  • Significant hands-on product management experience from connected products, consumer electronics, robotics or a closely related field, with at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch.
  • Recent experience within the last 3 years working on immersive physical-digital experience plus two or more of the following connected product disciplines: firmware, wireless connectivity (BLE, WiFi, or equivalent), mobile applications or cloud/backend services.
  • Deep user empathy backed by insight and data; able to articulate user needs and root causes clearly, going beyond surface-level feedback to understand the underlying problems, wants and desires.
  • Demonstrable experience taking a product from discovery through to launch and beyond, including owning post-launch iteration.
  • Proven ability to build and communicate a prioritised, outcome-oriented product roadmap; makes trade-offs explicit and decisions defensible.
  • Experience running structured discovery in new disruptive products in the 0 – 1 space and applying clear prioritisation frameworks.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to frame product decisions in terms of business impact.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A bias toward action, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Passion for interactive experiences and a strong understanding of user-centred design principles.
  • Applies agile and lean delivery principles effectively across the full product development cycle.
  • Experience with modern product development tools (JIRA, Confluence, JAMA).
  • Desire to push the bounds of LEGO play into new and uncharted play experiences.
