Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Basingstoke £40,000 + Commission Basingstoke - Hybrid | Full-Time | Excellent Progression

This is a pure pipeline generation role—no quoting, no closing. Your mission is simple: identify, qualify, and book high-quality meetings for the sales team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Pipeline Creation
    • Generate new business opportunities through outbound calling, LinkedIn outreach, email sequences, and campaign follow-up
    • Build targeted prospect lists across private sector and education markets
    • Identify key decision-makers and initiate meaningful conversations
  • Qualification
    • Uncover need, commercial fit, and stakeholder engagement
    • Validate timing and organisational suitability
    • Book qualified meetings for Account Managers
    • Maintain accurate CRM records (Dynamics)
  • Campaign Collaboration
    • Work with Marketing and Sales Leadership to:
    • Develop outreach campaigns

    • Create sector-specific messaging
    • Analyse engagement data to refine approach

About You

Sales & Lead Generation

In order to be successful, you should have a background and experience in B2B outbound sales, lead generation, telemarketing, recruitment, or appointment setting. You should be confident making high outbound call volumes, proven ability to generate meetings and qualify opportunities. You will also need strong objection handling and resilience.

Communication & Commercial Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong questioning and listening skills
  • Ability to identify commercially relevant opportunities
  • Professional when engaging senior stakeholders

Industry & Technical Awareness
