Office Location: London or Sheffield, UK.

Role Overview

Reporting to a Manager or Supervising Paralegal, the candidate will assist in case processing, including reviewing and preparing forms, support letters, and firm correspondence, and in the maintenance of case files within the team. They will help maintain a moderate level of cases under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform intake of cases once assigned and ensure case is correctly set up on Connect.
  • Prepare petition-based US immigration matters including family and business immigration cases, including legal drafting.
  • Prepare US consular cases, including non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters.
  • Maintain client contact information.
  • Keep Associates aware of the progress of matters to manage expectations, informing of conflicting priorities or problems as they arise.
  • Take on additional projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous US immigration experience.
  • Strong background in a client‑facing role.
  • Experience managing a high‑volume case load.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with team members.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to plan workload with conflicting deadlines, meet deadlines and priorities for own work and client service standards.
  • Accurate, detail‑oriented work style.
