Immigration Consultant (Paralegal) – Consular & Document Practice (CADP). Full-time, 6‑month fixed‑term contract in London, UK. Reporting to a manager or supervising paralegal, the role assists in case processing, including reviewing and preparing forms, support letters, firm correspondence, and maintains case files within the team. The role manages a moderate volume of cases under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform intake of cases once assigned and ensure case is correctly set up on Connect.
- Prepare petition‑based US immigration matters, including family and business cases and legal drafting.
- Prepare US consular cases, including non‑immigrant and immigrant visa matters.
- Maintain client contact information.
- Keep associates aware of progress of matters to manage expectations, and inform of conflicting priorities or request assistance as problems arise; inform of current capacity.
- Take on additional projects as required.
Qualifications
- Previous US immigration experience.
- Strong background in a client‑facing role.
- Experience managing a high‑volume case load.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
