This is a hands-on production role within a well-established plastics manufacturing environment producing specialist polythene film and bag products to customer specifications. The position is permanent and offers stable employment, structured rotating shifts and opportunities for long-term progression.
Hours
- Weekly rotating shifts:
- 1 week: 06:00 – 14:30
- 1 week: 14:00 – 22:30
- 1 week: 22:00 – 06:30
- 30-minute handover included
- Overtime available as required
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production, bagging and extrusion machinery
- Load and prepare raw materials and films for production
- Pack and store finished products in accordance with customer specifications
- Monitor machine performance and production quality
- Complete production and quality records accurately
- Remove and process production waste for recycling
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Report machinery faults or production issues to supervisors
- Support smooth production flow across shifts
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and motivated Production Operator with experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Hands-on, proactive, able to work accurately under pressure and comfortable with rotating shifts
- Previous machine operating experience in plastics, packaging or manufacturing is advantageous (training will be provided)
