Qualifications / Must Haves:
- CNC Milling and/or Turning experience including lathe work and live tooling experience (heavy machining advantageous)
- Fanuc and/or Haas control experience (or experience with other controls with transferable programming skills)
- Ability to work to tight tolerances
- Experience in low volume, high precision work
- Strong attention to detail
- Ideally experience in programming (strong editing and modifying may be considered)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small close‑knit team
Hours:
- Flexible day shifts (3‑person CNC team)
- Working hours designed to support home/work balance
- Overtime available as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines
- Working with Fanuc and Haas controls
- Producing high‑precision, low‑volume components
- Machining heavy engineering components for specialist applications
- Including lathe work with live tooling operations where required
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
- Carrying out in‑process inspection and quality control
- Supporting continuous improvement and workshop efficiency
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
What We’re Looking For:
- A confident CNC Machinist with strong engineering background.
- Experience in Fanuc and/or Haas, or other CNC controls with transferable programming ability
- Strong background in milling and turning, including lathe and live tooling experience
