Whether your background is in CNC machinery, woodworking equipment or a similar machine-based manufacturing environment, this could be an excellent next move. Due to continued growth across three successful business areas, our client is looking to add experienced Machine Operatives to their established manufacturing team. Working from a modern, purpose-built facility, you'll be responsible for operating production machinery safely and efficiently while ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards. If you're an experienced Machine Operative with transferable skills from CNC, woodworking or another machinery-based environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating production machinery
- Loading materials and components into machines
- Monitoring machinery throughout the production process
- Making permitted machine adjustments when required
- Working from job sheets and production specifications
- Carrying out quality checks and measurements
- Identifying and reporting machine faults or quality issues
- Working efficiently to achieve production targets
- Keeping machinery and work areas clean, safe and organised
- Following all site health and safety procedures
