Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 OTE (including overtime)

Hours:

Monday to Friday – Rotating shifts

  • 1 week: 06:00 – 14:30
  • 1 week: 13:30 – 22:00
  • 2 weeks: 08:00 – 16:30 (overtime available at time and a half)

The Opportunity:

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced maintenance role within a well‑established manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for keeping machinery running efficiently, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance, and playing a key role in minimising downtime across the site. If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and being a go‑to engineer on the shop floor, this role gives you the autonomy to do exactly that.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance of machinery
  • Fault finding on motors, drives, and control systems
  • PLC fault finding and basic diagnostics
  • Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Participating in the on‑call rota

  • A confident, hands‑on engineer with a strong electrical background
  • Someone who can fault find quickly and effectively under pressure
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • 18th Edition (advantageous but not essential)
