Production Manager Are you an experienced Production Manager who knows how to get the best from people, processes and production? 🏭 📍 Normanton, West Yorkshire 💷 £37,000 – £39,000 per annum ⏰ Working hours to be discussed at interview 📄 Permanent We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to take control of day-to-day manufacturing operations, leading production teams while driving quality, efficiency, safety and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for complex, multi-stage production processes and ensuring production plans and despatch requirements stay firmly on track. 🎁 What’s in it for you? ✔️ 33 days paid holiday ✔️ Enhanced sick pay of up to 13 weeks (after qualifying period) ✔️ Staff discount on mattresses ✔️ Free onsite parking ✔️ Staff canteen facilities 🔧 What you’ll be doing Managing daily production schedules, resources and KPIs Leading and developing Production Supervisors and production teams Driving improvements in quality, cost and efficiency Identifying bottlenecks, waste and downtime – and tackling them Managing staffing levels, recruitment, onboarding and training Coaching, mentoring and managing employee performance Monitoring rejects and supporting corrective actions Ensuring production meets demand and despatch requirements Maintaining excellent health & safety, housekeeping and risk-assessment standards Producing production reports and keeping senior management informed Working closely with Procurement, Distribution and other departments ✅ What we’re looking for You’ll need excellent people management skills alongside a strong technical understanding of production processes. You should also be IT literate, comfortable preparing reports and have a solid understanding of health & safety responsibilities, including risk assessments.
