Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) πŸ“ Location: West Yorkshire πŸ’· Salary: Β£40,000 rising to Β£42,000 after probation πŸ’° OTE: Β£44,000 – Β£46,000 (with overtime) πŸ•’ Hours: Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts πŸ“„ Contract: Permanent The Opportunity We are seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a well-established manufacturing business in West Yorkshire. This is a practical, fast-paced role, where you will maintain, fault-find, and repair industrial machinery to maximise uptime and production efficiency. You will also support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and contribute to continuous improvement projects. This position is perfect for an engineer who enjoys electrical fault finding, hands-on problem solving, and leading by example on the shop floor. Working Hours This role operates a rotating shift pattern: 1 week: 6:00am – 2:30pm 1 week: 1:30pm – 10:00pm 2 weeks: 8:00am – 4:30pm Overtime: Paid at time and a half Key Responsibilities Electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery Fault finding on electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control panels PLC fault finding and basic diagnostics Planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime Assist with continuous improvement and reliability projects Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures Participate in the on-call rota Candidate Requirements Time-served Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical skills 18th Edition electrical qualification (preferred) Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and equipment Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting experience Basic PLC knowledge for diagnostics Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach to maintenance Package & Benefits πŸ’· Β£40,000 starting salary πŸ“ˆ Β£42,000 after probation πŸ’° OvertimeΒ  πŸ“… 22 days holiday + bank holidays 🏭 Permanent, stable role in a manufacturing environment Opportunity to contribute to reliability and process improvements Why This Role Is Attractive Hands-on role with strong electrical focus Structured rotating shifts for work-life balance Permanent position with long-term stability Opportunity to own maintenance tasks and support continuous improvement On-call and overtime provide earning potential up to Β£46,000 How to Apply / More Information For more information or to apply, please email: (url removed)
