The Opportunity

We’re recruiting for an experienced Stainless Steel / Aluminium Fabrication Engineer to join a successful and growing manufacturing business in Liversedge. If you’re a skilled fabricator with strong TIG/MIG welding experience and enjoy working with stainless steel and aluminium, this could be a great opportunity to join a close-knit team where your skills will be valued and developed. Full product training, ongoing support and regular overtime are all on offer.

The Role

This is a hands-on role for a confident and motivated fabricator who can work to a high standard with minimal supervision. Your duties will include:

  • Fabricating stainless steel and aluminium components
  • TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Using a range of fabrication tools and workshop machinery
  • Producing high-quality work within production deadlines
  • Working independently and as part of a skilled team

Experience with CNC press brake and powered guillotine machinery would be highly advantageous.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you should ideally have:

  • A relevant fabrication/engineering qualification, ideally City & Guilds or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a sheet metal fabrication role
  • Strong TIG/MIG welding experience with stainless steel and aluminium
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised when needed
  • A flexible attitude to working hours when required
  • Good physical fitness and a practical, hands-on approach
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Be based within a commutable distance of Liversedge

Hours & Overtime

Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Breaks:

  • 15-minute paid morning break
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • 15-minute paid afternoon break

Regular overtime is available, with a number of overtime working options available following induction.
