10 Recruitment are currently looking for Pipefitters, Welders and Mechanical Fitters to support a machinery installation project in West Yorkshire. This is a hands-on temporary opportunity suited to candidates with a strong mechanical, pipefitting or welding background who are confident working practically and independently. You do not necessarily need to be a fully qualified engineer; good practical experience and the ability to safely complete assigned installation tasks are key.
Duties:
- Supporting the installation and assembly of machinery
- Mechanical fitting and bolting
- Pipe fitting and installation
- Welding as required
- Using hand and power tools
- Completing allocated installation tasks safely and efficiently
- Working from instructions and drawings where required
- Assisting with positioning, fitting and securing machine components
- Working independently once tasks have been assigned
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable and safety-conscious
- Available to start ASAP
- Comfortable committing to a 3–4 week temporary assignment
