The Role
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a manufacturing environment on a permanent, days-based shift pattern. You will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery to ensure maximum uptime and production efficiency. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery
- Fault finding on electrical systems and production equipment
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
- PLC fault finding and basic diagnostics
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
- Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 4)
Minimum Requirements
- Time-served, qualified engineer
- 18th Edition
- Strong electrical fault-finding capability
- PLC knowledge (fault finding / basic diagnostics)
- Experience working with industrial machinery
- Background within a manufacturing environment (essential)
