Salary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 upon successful completion of probation

Hours: Monday to Friday – Days | 40 hours per week

On-Call: 1 in 4 rotation

Overtime: Time and a half

Holidays: 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a manufacturing environment on a permanent, days-based shift pattern. You will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery to ensure maximum uptime and production efficiency. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery
  • Fault finding on electrical systems and production equipment
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
  • PLC fault finding and basic diagnostics
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
  • Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 4)

Minimum Requirements

  • Time-served, qualified engineer
  • 18th Edition
  • Strong electrical fault-finding capability
  • PLC knowledge (fault finding / basic diagnostics)
  • Experience working with industrial machinery
  • Background within a manufacturing environment (essential)
