We’re recruiting for a Machine Operative to join an established manufacturing operation in Meltham. This is a great opportunity for someone with production or machine operating experience who enjoys hands-on work, quality checking and keeping machinery running efficiently.
Hours Choose from:
- Double Days 6:00am – 2:00pm 2:00pm – 10:00pm Monday to Friday
- Permanent Nights – £34,000 10:00pm – 6:00am Sunday to Thursday
Benefits:
- Permanent position – direct with the employer

Must Haves:
- Production and/or machine operating experience would be beneficial
- A methodical approach to work

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Stoll machinery in line with production plans and specifications
- Producing products to agreed standards
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production
- Maintaining machines in line with standard working practices
- Completing machine changeovers
- Helping ensure machinery runs smoothly and efficiently
- Attending daily meetings to support effective shift handovers
- Completing required data input
- Following quality, environmental and health & safety procedures
Essential Qualifications / Skills:
- Previous production or Machine Operative experience would be beneficial, along with a practical, methodical approach.
- An understanding of continuous improvement initiatives would also be advantageous.
