It's a suntrap ideal for leisurely lunches, sundown cocktails, late-night dining and revelry. We serve seasonal Middle Eastern sharing plates, boast an extensive wine list, and offer lively cocktails, ensuring an unforgettable experience, day or night.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Head Bartender to help lead our bar team. As a natural people person, you will be engaging, have a thirst for excellence and keep abreast of changing trends. You will offer a fun and relaxed atmosphere to guests and the team alike, to deliver an outstanding beverage offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Bar Manager to lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver consistent and high-quality service.
- Help to oversee day‑to‑day bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Take drink orders and serve guests with efficiency and accuracy, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic/non‑alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area according to established guidelines and ensuring all supplies are well‑stocked.
- Handle cash transactions and accurately process payments.
- Engage with customers, build rapport, and ensure their overall satisfaction.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Bartender.
- Excellent knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and presentation.
- Confident leader with excellent communication and people‑management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
