Warwick is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team, supporting both of our signature restaurants, Nessa and Yasmin.

About Nessa: A modern British restaurant and bar rooted in character and charm, Nessa brings together nostalgic dishes and contemporary flair in the heart of Soho. Designed for conversation, it's a space that invites long lunches and spontaneous evenings.

About Yasmin: Yasmin, nestled among Soho's rooftops on the corner of Brewer and Warwick Street, is an intimate Middle Eastern restaurant, bar, and terrace with panoramic city views. It's a suntrap ideal for leisurely lunches, sundown cocktails, late-night dining and revelry. We serve seasonal Middle Eastern sharing plates, boast an extensive wine list, and offer lively cocktails, ensuring an unforgettable experience, day or night.

The Role: Our company is seeking a vibrant and passionate Commis Chef who will excite our guests through their culinary experience. You may not have much experience in the kitchen, but you will know the basics and will be eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Has basic knowledge of a kitchen and is eager to learn to develop their role (desirable but not mandatory as full training will be given)
  • Can follow instruction to deliver their tasks to a high standard
  • A great communicator that manages their time well
  • Thirst for knowledge and is a proactive question-asker
  • Has good knife skills and knowledge of all food safety measures to ensure we deliver a safe kitchen
  • Follows proper food safety and health and safety guidelines and sanitation practices following the principles of HACCP
  • Ensures kitchen areas and equipment are maintained to the highest possible standard
  • Assists in cleaning, clearing, washing within the kitchen, including deep cleaning
  • Take responsibility for their duties which will include but will not be limited to preparation of food, stock control, portion control and minimizing wastage.
