About the role:
As our Housekeeper you will ensure daily cleaning schedules are followed and with the rest of the housekeeping team, ensure every area of the home is spic and span and up to our standards. This includes corridors, toilets and of course our residents' rooms. You'll interact with our residents on a daily basis - so you'll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our residents' dignity at all times.
Here's some other important things you need to know:
- You’ll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
- Ensure that all equipment and materials are well maintained and safely stored in the appropriate places.
- You’ll report any incidents or maintenance issues to the home manager.
