We’re currently seeking a Duty Security Officer at 1 Hotel Mayfair to maintain the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, associates and assets. This job is all about how you react, or just as importantly, don’t react, in a crisis. It’s about staying a step (or five) ahead of potentially dangerous situations, identifying them and managing them with professionalism, reasonable thinking and in accordance with 1 Hotel Mayfair’s policies.
About you
- Passionate about safety and security, with experience in a luxury environment.
- A post-secondary diploma, degree or industry-related certifications would be a plus.
- Experience in safety and security operations within the hotel industry.
- A natural habit for attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
- Works naturally as part of a team with an emphasis on this belief being the core foundation of any efficient team.
- Must have an ability to work independently when needed and exercise one’s own initiative when trying to resolve issues or reacting to unexpected incidents.
