Job Title: Project Manager, Data Centres (UK & Ireland)

Location: London area / South East

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding UKI Data Centre sales team. You will coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget and scope, overseeing all aspects from initiation to closure with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of project development including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Set processes, deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor & summarize project progress.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project timelines and quality, and develop risk management strategies.
  • Meet with clients and stakeholders to obtain detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific project requirements, ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of one or multiple projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery.
  • Monitor progress, manage changes, and track project budgets to ensure costs remain within allocated limits.
  • Ensure on‑site presence during Data Centre commissioning to coordinate with all stakeholders.
  • Travel regularly to client meetings or Data Centre construction sites as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience in a similar role or leading and delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent client‑facing and strong interpersonal/communication skills; effective written and verbal communication at all levels.
  • Solid organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Proactive problem‑solving approach and ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or Data Centre and/or construction site ecosystems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in HVAC, construction or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Occasional travels to visit manufacturing facilities are appreciated.
