Head Chef Pizzaiolo
Location: Shoreditch
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per year + Performance Bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure the highest food quality standards.
- Prepare and supervise the production of authentic pizzas using traditional techniques.
- Manage kitchen staff, training, scheduling, and performance.
- Control food costs, stock management, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop new menu items and contribute to the continuous improvement of our food offering.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Pizza Chef, or Senior Pizzaiolo in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of dough fermentation, pizza preparation, and Italian cuisine.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Food Hygiene certification is preferred.
