  • What You’ll be Doing as a Small Works Security Engineer
  • Work closely with the service Operations Manager and wider branch network to complete 4–8‑hour work orders and generate extra revenue into the business.
  • Partner with the recommendation team and engineers to drive opportunities.
  • Work with the commercial seller and Key Account Managers (KAM’s) for leads not suitable for install.
  • Responsible for the quotes for all small works that come via the recommendation team, commercials, KAM’s or other outlets such as the enquiries via the office admin.
  • Provide excellent customer care (from understanding needs to keeping contact with ETA’s, timescales, etc.).
  • Manage each order (including stock orders) throughout the process of quotation and right through to the signing off the works.
  • Follow up on recommendations and quotes, ensuring the customer understands the reasoning and positive impact our upgrades will have.
  • Look for upsell opportunities, e. g. if we are upgrading signalling then is there potential for a panel upgrade?
  • What We Would Like You to Bring
  • Experienced Security Engineer with a deep knowledge of Intruder Alarms, Access Systems and CCTV.
  • Ability to lift and climb ladders – it would be an advantage if you had an IPAF 3a & b cherry picker license.
  • Always deliver excellent Customer Service.
