Are you looking to start your career with a global investment bank, where you will cover the tier one institutional clients? The role sits as part of Emerging Markets Equity Derivatives Sales team responsible for selling equity derivatives and cross asset structured investments linked to predominantly equities but also fixed income, currencies, commodities, hybrids, and alternative investments.
By joining this sales desk, you will be a key member focused on the Banks, Asset Managers, Pension funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Family Offices and other Financial Institutions from In Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. You will spend your time proactively speaking to clients providing product ideas, improving existing services and working to onboard new clients. We therefore need somebody with experience in a client facing role with the potential to generate revenues by providing an excellent level of service.
What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are :
Working with multiple partners across the bank including the various product structuring and trading teams, and the issuance team to bring appropriate products to our clients.
Origination, pricing and execution of Equity Derivative transactions (including delta-1) and Cross Asset Structured Products.
Continued development of the platform to improve client experience, and fulfilling the clientsβ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience.
Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm\βs reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we will need from you:
Strong knowledge around Equity Derivatives and Cross Asset Structured Products, including the latest product developments with an ability to identify and drive new product and client opportunities.
You should have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, and advanced quantitative skills with experience with derivative pricing
Experience covering Emerging Markets Institutional clients preferred.
Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage
You should have outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management & prioritization skills, which will be required when pro-actively managing your clients successfully.
Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing financial transactions and a commitment to compliance.
