You will also help build engagement around longer-term cultural and change initiatives such as Diversity & Inclusion and our environmental goals.

The communications team (internal and external) sits within the global Marketing & Business Development (MBD) function. It is a fast‐moving, high‐performance environment where colleagues shape client strategy, run campaigns, manage media, deliver events and help define how the firm is perceived globally. While this role involves a significant element of support and implementation, you will be encouraged to contribute ideas and input to communications strategies, plans and campaigns. This is an opportunity to develop your internal communications career in a dynamic, international setting, working as part of a collaborative and supportive global team.

Key responsibilities and deliverables
  • Manage day‐to‐day internal communications activities, including newsletter production, firmwide emails, intranet homepage content, and occasional support for town halls and video communications.
  • Implement agreed internal communications plans for strategic areas of the business, identifying themes and opportunities to improve employee engagement.
  • Support alignment between internal and external communications by working closely with external comms and social media colleagues to coordinate messaging and timing around key announcements.
  • Draft clear, engaging internal content and make effective use of the full communications toolkit (e.g. email, intranet, video, collaboration tools) across different channels and formats.
  • Develop and maintain internal communications tools and channels (e.g. intranet, SharePoint, Poppulo, Yammer), including monitoring performance, reporting on effectiveness and recommending improvements.
  • Work in an international context, coordinating with colleagues and external agencies where needed, and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal communications approaches and techniques.
Key requirementsEssential
  • Degree‐qualified with a minimum of two years’ experience in communications, marketing or a related field, ideally within a global or matrixed organisation.
  • Experience in content development and internal communications delivery (e.g. newsletters, intranet, firmwide emails).
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver high‐quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including exceptional writing, high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, self‐starting approach with the ability to build strong internal relationships and work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders.
Desirable
  • Experience of internal communications tools and platforms (e.g. intranet/CMS, SharePoint, Poppulo, Yammer or similar).
  • Experience working in an international context; additional language skills beyond fluent English are welcomed.
  • Experience managing or coordinating external agency support.
  • Strong personal presence and the ability to work in a consultative mode, influencing decisions and contributing to communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated cross‐cultural awareness and the ability to adapt communications for different audiences.
