What You Will Do
- You will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- You will work closely with project teams across the UK and the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and cost plans.
- Monitor project budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyse project documents and support forecasting and cost planning.
- Lead procurement strategies for subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Manage the full tendering process: RFQs, evaluation, negotiation, and contract awards.
- Draft and negotiate contracts and supplier agreements (JCT, NEC, FIDIC).
- Oversee supplier pre-qualification, H&S, quality, and ESG compliance.
- Track payments, variations, final accounts, and manage commercial risk.
- Produce CVRs, cost-to-complete analysis, and financial performance reports.
- Liaise with legal teams to resolve claims, disputes, and contractual matters.
- Support and visit UK and NL project sites as required (typically bi-weekly).

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Professional qualification (MRICS, MCIPS, CIOB) strongly preferred
- 7+ years’ experience in construction cost management and procurement
- Excellent contract knowledge (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) and strong commercial acumen
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally to the Netherlands
