We are seeking a Cloud Platform Developer to join one of our Platinum accounts. In this leadership-focused technical role, you’ll contribute to solution design, cloud development, and automation while guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available solutions across Azure, AWS, and private cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design, build, and delivery of secure cloud solutions, with a focus on automation and modern platforms.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to align solutions with business and security requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers/engineers.
- Implement high-availability, scalable solutions leveraging cloud-native and open-source tools.
- Advise clients on emerging technologies, best practices, and innovative approaches.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and guide others.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure (Azure Virtual Desktop is a plus).
- Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and cloud-native platforms.
- Knowledge of scripting/coding languages (Python, React, Go preferred).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Jenkins, Concourse, etc.).
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and authentication frameworks (OIDC, OAuth2, Keycloak, etc.).
Desirable Experience
- Working with monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, DataDog, Nagios, New Relic).
- Web/application servers (NGINX, Apache, JBoss).
- Database schemas and query languages.
- Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
