What you will do: Assistant Chief Engineers in our luxurious hotel take a proactive, hands-on approach, assisting in overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations to ensure excellent standards are maintained, creating a welcoming and safe environment that consistently exceeds guests' expectations.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Coordinate the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including tracking expenses, forecasting future needs, and optimising resource allocation.
- Oversee hotel renovations and other projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
