The Specialty Travel and Events team is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead development for Energy & Marine Travel. In this role, you will shape the travel experience for customers whose teams work across remote locations, offshore environments, and global operations. These travel needs involve complex itineraries, crew movements, changing schedules, and time-sensitive disruptions. You will turn those challenges into a reliable, intuitive product experience. You will own this product area end to end, connecting customer and business needs with scalable product and engineering solutions.
You’ll build a deep understanding of how energy and marine organizations manage travel, identify where the current experience falls short, and set a product direction that works for travelers, travel managers, and the teams supporting them. If you thrive on complex problems, high accountability, and close collaboration across global teams, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Become the Expert: Work closely with your design and engineering counterparts, internal business owners, and industry experts to understand the needs of energy and marine travel. Build expertise in the workflows and constraints that shape travel to remote and offshore locations, including crew movements, complex itineraries, and operational changes.
- Own the Lifecycle: Lead the product experience across booking, trip changes, traveler support, administration, reporting, and internal servicing tools. Find ways to make travel easier to plan and manage before, during, and after a trip.
- Solve complex product and systems problems: Identify gaps across workflows, data, and architecture. Partner with engineering to build dependable products that can support the unique requirements of energy and marine customers at scale.
- Drive Vision & Execution: Define a clear product strategy and roadmap that leverages AI to produce better outcomes and experiences. Turn customer and business needs into focused product plans, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and deliver improvements at a pace that supports a growing customer base.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate daily with your Product, Design, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to move products from ideation through to launch.
- Data-Driven Accountability: Set meaningful KPIs and rigorously measure your team’s success. Use data to navigate ambiguity and provide clear, thoughtful documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ownership Mindset: You take full accountability for your space. You are a self-driver who dives deep into complex problems and takes pride in "owning it" from start to finish.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of Product Management experience at a software company, specifically working on user-facing applications with high backend complexity.
- Technical Fluency: Ability to grasp complex engineering intricacies and simplify them for others. You understand technical dependencies and can speak the language of your engineering counterparts.
- Stakeholder Obsession: You are a relationship builder who anticipates the needs of internal subject-matter experts and external customers alike.
- Domain Expertise: Experience in corporate travel or finance tools, marketplaces, payments, procure-to-pay, or highly regulated industries is a major plus.
- Global Mobility: Travel to our offices in San Francisco and Berlin is required to foster collaboration with our global teams.
- Seriously Fun: It’s a company value – really! We work hard and have a ton of fun while doing it.
