Job Description

As a Staff Engineer in our Financial Infrastructure team, you will provide expert technical leadership in designing and building our cloud‑based finance platform.

This pivotal role will define the standards for our distributed architecture and collaborate with product and engineering leaders to shape our technical and product roadmap.

You will be central to automating Checkout. com’s complex financial processes, tackling challenges of data integrity, granularity, and scalability to support our rapid global growth.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Drive the long‑term technical direction and strategy for the Financial Infrastructure pillar, looking beyond immediate requirements to ensure solutions are built for scale.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to our engineering teams, providing the technical leadership needed to solve complex distributed systems challenges.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and take initiative to elevate engineering standards within the pillar, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Design, build, and evolve our core financial data‑processing platforms, ensuring robustness and accuracy.
