What is the opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in London as a Client Services Specialist. This role works closely with financial advisers who deal directly with our clients to answer enquiries. RBCβs expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Respond to all types of enquiries in a timely manner via our website, phone, or via email.
- Speak confidently to prospective clients to help identify their needs and help direct them to an appropriate adviser or third party.
- Manage referral data, and work with those specialising in data insights to produce reports for senior management meetings.
- Respond to enquiries from the client facing teams at RBC Brewin Dolphin.
- Where appropriate, identify and suggest process and customer service improvements.
- Longer term work to identify existing clients who may benefit from the wider RBC product offering.
- Support with team organisation including team diary management, travel booking and processing expenses.
- Support internal projects working with individuals from around the business with the support of the line manager.
What do you need to succeed?
- Must-have: Customer facing experience.
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Clear and concise communication skills β oral and written.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Nice-to-have: Experience working in Wealth Management, Financial Services or Professional Services.
