Job Description
What is the opportunity? We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Technology sector team. This role involves preparing market analysis, strategic analysis, and valuation/financial modelling for clients, as well as advising clients on their strategy and the successful implementation of transactions.
What will you do?
- Transaction execution, new business presentations, meetings, and other related duties.
- Collaborate with the wider European, US, and occasionally global teams in developing pitch books and client materials.
- Cover the entire European/EMEA Technology sector, with a focus on Fintech and energy/climate tech.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with exposure to finance and accounting.
- Prior experience in software, fintech, or data analytics sectors is preferred, especially in valuation discussions.
- Strong understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modelling.
- Excellent creativity, presentation, and communication skills.
- Motivated to engage with clients early in your career.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
- Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
- Advanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, Refinitiv, Pitchbook, Thomson Financial is a plus.
