An exciting opportunity to join as an Analyst as a Sales Trader covering North America. RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Gain a good understanding of the Global Equities business.
- Undertake and pass all required regulatory and exchange exams and registrations.
- Business development with prospective and existing European-based clients.
- Help with evaluation and integration of new technologies.
- Daily coverage of clients to further educate them on best practices when using RBC algorithms.
- Guidance and participation in the development of the Electronic Trading product.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Strong financial knowledge background.
- General Technology Understanding.
- Proven experience in a sales trading role.
- Previous experience in U.S Equities.
Competencies (Behavioural)
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Personable and confident interacting with others (internal employees and external clients).
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Strong Ethics.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of basic computer software.
- A technical / logical mindset.
