Kingston College is seeking a Lecturer to deliver engaging and relevant skills and knowledge in line with the Pearson A Level Business Studies curriculum. The Creative Business Studies programmes offer students a unique blend of a vocational BTEC in a creative subject alongside an A Level in Business Studies.
You will produce schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and liaise with external verifiers/moderators as required.
We’d like you to hold a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications in a relevant subject area. You should hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one) and have teaching experience, preferably within the Further Education Sector, and be recognised as a good or outstanding teacher. Our ideal candidate will be dynamic, proactive, and highly organised, with prior teaching experience in A Level Business Studies.
The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year. There is an excellent pension scheme that receives a significant financial contribution from the employer (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities, professional development and training, plus a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme. The benefits package is pro-rated for part-time staff.
