Kingston College is looking for a Sessional Academy Football Coach to cover training sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays. Coaches can claim 3 hours per session, with a maximum of 11 hours per week (approximately 35 weeks per year). Coaches are expected to arrive by 8.30am.
Our Football Academy aims to bridge the gap between grassroots youth football and men's semi-professional football while enabling players to study full-time for vocational qualifications in the Sports Coaching/Sports Science sector. With over 20 years of experience, the Academy prides itself on high standards in both football and academics. We are currently partnered with Bedfont Sports, providing links to semi-professional football, match day facilities, and connections within the broader football pyramid.
Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver detailed coaching sessions.
- Lead coaching for a squad or group at training and assist/lead with one of the match day squads.
- Maintain a high level of commitment to the full weekly training schedule for the season, including trials, taster days, and pre-season.
- Engage, motivate, and discipline aspiring young players, working independently with a squad/group at training.
- Hold a driving licence to transport yourself, equipment, and kit to and from training venues and match day locations.
- Minimum 5 years coaching experience with players aged 14 and above.
- UEFA C Coaching qualification.
- FA Safeguarding Children and FA Introduction to First Aid in Football certifications.
- Salary range: £23.55 - £25.70 per hour (excluding holiday pay).
