Kingston College is seeking an Enrichment Coordinator to lead the planning and delivery of a diverse programme of high-profile events, activities, extracurricular clubs and projects across the College, aligned with key Support Service development plans and service standards. These activities will encourage positive behaviour, respect, wellbeing, student voice and safety.

You’ll actively promote student engagement in enrichment opportunities and wider Support Centre services, working closely with the Student Services Adviser team. The role also involves supervising Enrichment Officers, youth workers and other enrichment staff within Student Services.

In addition, you’ll develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff and external partners to ensure the effective delivery of enrichment provision, while appropriately signposting students and supporting safeguarding and intervention processes where needed.

We’re seeking a candidate with a degree, diploma or equivalent qualification (e.g., Youth and Community Work, minimum Level 5) along with experience supervising and managing staff against service KPIs and improvement plans. You’ll have experience coordinating high-quality activities, projects, workshops and large-scale events (e.g., Freshers’ Fair), as well as managing complex safeguarding cases, including risk assessment, decision-making and coordinating safety and support plans with internal and external partners such as Social Services and the Police.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices, data protection and the ability to conduct robust health and safety risk assessments is advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, including written, verbal, and administrative abilities, with empathy, discretion and confidentiality. You should also be highly organised, efficient, and confident using IT systems.

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 8th June 2026.

The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 27 days plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health. There is an excellent pension scheme that receives a significant financial contribution from the employer (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities and professional development and training plus a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme.

As outlined in the Public Sector Equality Duty of the Equality Act 2010, we are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.

As part of our due diligence checks on prospective employees, successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, an online search and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. We are looking for hard-working and collaborative people who can join our team and help challenge our students to progress and achieve.
