Carshalton College is looking for a Learning Mentor to support and mentor learners with mental health or medical conditions, disabilities, learning difficulties or other support needs, helping them access the curriculum and complete their courses.

- Help learners successfully access the curriculum and complete their courses.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working successfully with young people in a supporting/mentoring role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of the support needs of young people with mental health or medical conditions, disabilities or learning difficulties.
- Level 2 qualification in English/Literacy (minimum).
- Level 1 qualification in Maths.
Salary and Benefits
£27,780 - £29,469 per annum, plus up to 40 days + Bank Holidays; a salary increase as a result of the annual cost of living review will be applied in the new academic year. Benefits include 27 days annual leave plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year, an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave, pension scheme with significant employer contribution (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities, professional development and training, and salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme.
