Brookhaven is one of the largest experiences on Roblox, with millions of players jumping in every day. At Voldex, we're looking for a Software Engineer to help build the next chapter of the game — from new features and gameplay systems to technical improvements that keep the experience polished, scalable, and fun.
You'll collaborate closely with designers, artists, and producers, write clean and maintainable Roblox Lua code, and ship updates that reach a massive global player base. What You'll Do
- Build and launch features that delight millions of players daily
- Write clean, performant, and maintainable Roblox Lua code
- Partner closely with designers, artists, and producers to craft compelling gameplay experiences
- Debug, optimize, and improve live game systems
- Elevate the technical quality and performance of our games
- Playtest regularly and provide thoughtful design and product feedback
Who You Are
- Strong foundation in CS fundamentals and problem-solving
- Familiarity with game engines, scripting languages, and version control
- Excellent communication and collaborative mindset
- 2+ years of Roblox development experience

- Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent development experience
- Experience working in game teams
- Shipped games or features on Roblox or similar platforms
- Game jam or modding experience
- Familiarity with live game systems (analytics, economy tuning, balancing)
