  • Provide clear, concise reporting on compliance-related delivery to digital leadership and contribute to future planning cycles.
  • Enable product and delivery teams to meet compliance standards in a self-sufficient and sustainable way.
  • Identify and drive improvements in compliance-related tooling, practices and ways of working.
  • Ensure roles and responsibilities for maintaining compliance are clearly understood across digital delivery.
  • Provide day-to-day technical guidance and governance on payments compliance.
  • Support the transition of compliance practices into application and product teams.

  • In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of tokenisation applications and card data environments in complex technology stacks.
  • Technical credibility to provide clear direction to delivery teams on compliant solutions.
  • Ability to translate compliance standards into workable technical outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Clear, confident communicator able to explain complex compliance concepts to varied audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for improving ways of working and tooling.

Your experience:

  • Engineering or architectural experience in technologies such as XML, Python and preferably Linux (e.g. Red Hat) or Java, within card data or tokenisation environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and, ideally, network services within segmented network environments.
  • Proven experience designing, building and deploying technical solutions that support payments compliance.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments alongside product and delivery teams.
