Zaizi is looking for a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge digital services for the UK Public sector using the latest open source technologies and working under an Agile and DevOps framework.
Role Objectives:
- Network and communicate with senior stakeholders across organisations and proactively seek out opportunities for digital transformation.
- Build rapport with customers to identify new opportunities for Zaizi.
- Support multiple teams, finding and using best practice and emerging technologies.
- Inspire other architects and help them understand how to deliver the goals of the organisation.
- Be responsible for governance, solving complex and high-risk issues or delivering architecture design.
- Collaborate on multiple projects with several customers.
- Discuss and present solutions and options to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other teams within Zaizi, share knowledge and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Technical: You will have extensive commercial experience in many of the following:
- Technical & Solution Design.
- Open Source software.
- Cloud computing (ideally AWS).
- Security best practices.
- IAM, OAuth, Cognito, OIDC – all advantageous.
- Containers and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- DevOps / DevSecOps and related tools.
- Knowledge of multiple languages such as Javascript, Java & Python.
