As a Software Developer in the Martech Sports Content team, you will be responsible for the Marketing, Affiliates systems, and various content management platforms used across the Business. The Martech Sports Content team is responsible for developing and enhancing our platforms for Partners, Hub pages, Offers, Zendesk and Responsible Gambling, which support the delivery of both customer facing and internal business systems. We operate as a full stack team with the core skills being C#, Typescript and Golang. Additionally, the tech stack also covers SQL, .Net, MVC, Web API, Nodejs, HTML5, CSS3 and Golang. If you have an interest in learning a new programming language, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to continue your development through our dedicated Golang bootcamp. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining systems that handle customer communication from email to live chat.
  • Supporting and enhancing the existing code base.
  • Maintaining clean coding practises.
  • Identifying technical areas of improvement.
  • Supporting product owners as required.
  • Supporting the testing team during testing phases of projects.
  • Contributing to solution proposals.

The skills and experience to help you perform in the role

  • Extensive commercial experience in .Net, web development, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET and Web API.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, native Javascript, and jQuery.
  • Commercial MS SQL Server experience 2012 or later.
  • Basic knowledge of IIS configuration and management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality, scalable software solutions.
  • Delivery focused with experience using AGILE practices.
  • Working with distributed, multi-tiered applications.
