Out of the successful launch of Chase in the United Kingdom in 2021, we're a new team with a new mission – creating products that solve real-world problems and put customers at the center, all in an environment that nurtures skills and helps you realize your potential. We're people-first, and we value collaboration, curiosity, and commitment. If you're passionate about building meaningful financial products at scale, this is the team for you.
As a Senior Product Manager (People Leader) at JPMorgan Chase within the Accelerator, you'll take ownership of a significant platform capability or proposition, leading a team of Product Managers and the squads they run, and shaping how it evolves as part of our broader Chase European build-out. You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence beyond your immediate team, working across areas such as core banking, payments, and cards – depending on where your experience and interests best fit. We're a fintech-focused team looking for people who want to solve big problems, drive strong product culture, and continue building deep expertise in the space.
Job Responsibilities
- Own a broader area of the roadmap end to end, including the underlying business rules, logic, and infrastructure that support it, delivered through the Product Managers in your team.
- Lead a team of Product Managers with clarity and purpose, setting direction and priorities in close, continuous partnership with Engineering, User Experience, and Data and Analytics.
- Define and drive a multi-quarter roadmap across your team's areas that balances near-term delivery commitments with longer-term platform strategy, and is accountable for it cohering with adjacent areas.
- Navigate ambiguity and complex trade-offs across technical, regulatory, commercial, and business constraints, making well-reasoned decisions at pace, and arbitrating when your PMs' areas compete for capacity or conflict on approach.
- Influence peers and senior stakeholders outside your immediate team, including senior technology and business partners across the firm.
- Apply data rigorously to prioritise, validate, and course-correct decisions throughout the delivery lifecycle, including commercial and cost outcomes alongside customer value.
- Own coaching, performance conversations, and growth plans for your Product Managers, developing their product craft, data fluency, and commercial judgement, and raising the bar across the team.
- Accountable for the health of your team's partnerships with Engineering and Design; where a partnership isn't working, fixing it jointly with your counterparts is your job.
- Represent your product area clearly and credibly in senior forums, communicating progress, risks, and strategic direction with confidence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Sustained experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record leading a squad directly alongside Engineering, User Experience, and Data teams.

- Experience managing people, or a strong record of leading through others with readiness to take on formal management.
- Strong judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes situations, with the ability to make and stand behind difficult trade-off decisions.
- Strong technical aptitude, commercial awareness, and product sense, with the ability to engage credibly with engineering and business partners alike.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence and align senior audiences.
