Join us as a Senior Marketing Insight and Measurement Manager within Planning and Operations at Barclays UK, where you will lead the measurement and insight strategy that shapes how we plan and execute marketing.

We are seeking a commercially driven professional with Marketing Mix Modelling experience -you will leverage data-driven analysis, market trends, and competitor insights to inform strategic decisions and guide investment across Barclays UK Marketing.

Working closely with our Decision Intelligence team, you will evaluate marketing effectiveness, understand drivers of performance, and ensure our resources deliver maximum impact.

You will play a key role in translating customer and market understanding into actionable strategies that enhance both our marketing performance and customer outcomes, ensuring that our multimillion budget is spent in the right place.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in one or more of the following: Media/Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), or Econometrics Modelling.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Decision Intelligence teams and applying macro marketing trend insights to inform strategy.
  • Solid understanding of the marketing landscape, gained through experience within a marketing function.
  • Proficient in Excel, with the ability to manage and analyse large data sets effectively.
  • Skilled in managing relationships with external agencies and confident engaging with senior stakeholders to influence decisions.

This role will be based in London, Glasgow or Northampton.

To develop and implement marketing strategies to promote brand, products, and services across various markets

  • Collaboration with product development, sales, and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives, to achieve specific, well defined outcomes, as needed.
  • Development of compelling and targeted content for various marketing channels, including print, media and related collateral, if needed.
  • Analysis of data to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies, use of data analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Management of the marketing budget, allocating resources to maximise ROI.
  • Defines marketing vision, sets goals, clarifies objectives and works across organisations to achieve specific, well defined outcomes.
