What you will do:
- As a Senior Data Visualisation Analyst, you will help shape a modern, trusted and insight‑led analytics environment.
- You will design and deliver clear, engaging and reliable dashboards and reports that enable colleagues across the bank to understand their data, make confident decisions and adopt self‑service analytics.
- Working closely with business, data and technical teams, you will translate complex requirements into intuitive visual solutions that balance usability, consistency and strong data storytelling.
- Design and deliver high impact dashboards, reports and data visualisations that turn complex data into clear actionable insight.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to shape, refine and challenge requirements, developing solutions iteratively through feedback, testing and playback until ready for adoption.
- Apply strong data storytelling, design and usability principles to create intuitive, engaging and accessible outputs.
- Work with data, analytics and business teams to build reusable models, measures and reporting assets that improve consistency, scalability and self‑service capability.
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, consistent and aligned to agreed business definitions, controls and design standards.
- Follow governance processes to minimise reporting, data, access and operational risk.
- Apply agreed standards for documentation, ownership, publishing and lifecycle management of BI artefacts.
- Support continuous improvement in data quality, reporting standards and trust across the BI estate.
- Collaborate with business teams to prioritise demand and deliver reporting solutions to agreed timelines.
- Support stakeholders and end users with report queries, issue resolution and enhancement requests.
- Monitor report performance, usage and user experience, recommending practical improvements.
- Contribute to the wider BI community by sharing knowledge, promoting best practice and supporting self‑service adoption.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders to ensure reporting delivers measurable business outcomes.
- Any other duties that reasonably fall within the role.

What you will need:
- 3+ years’ experience in a Data Visualisation Analyst, BI Analyst or similar analytics role.
- Proven experience delivering dashboards and reports in a structured, governed environment.
- Experience working directly with stakeholders to gather, validate and iterate requirements.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Strong hands on experience with Power BI, including dashboard design and visual best practice.
- Good understanding of data modelling, semantic models, DAX and Power Query.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent data storytelling and user centred design capability.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly and simply.
- Practical awareness of data governance, access controls and reporting risk in a regulated environment.
- SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure are desirable.
- Self‑motivated and well organised, able to manage multiple reporting demands across project and BAU work while meeting agreed timelines.
