Quality Assurance Lead at Edenred PayTech, a global payments and benefits provider. This hybrid role (London / Swindon) focuses on building and driving QA practices across our microservices‑based products.
Your Mission
Own and elevate the QA strategy end‑to‑end, ensuring secure, reliable, high‑performing products at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Build and implement comprehensive testing processes, including end‑to‑end and exploratory testing.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and shared ownership of quality.
- Develop and embed QA best practices across teams.
- Support the definition of functional and non‑functional testing requirements.
- Maintain and optimise test environments to ensure reliability.
- Produce clear, detailed test reports for stakeholders.
- Take full accountability for test activities throughout the lifecycle.
- Communicate testing outcomes with clarity, confidence, and impact.
What You Bring
Essential
- Proven experience in test management within microservices and data‑driven environments.
- Strong background in functional and non‑functional testing.
- Hands‑on experience leading QA teams, test development, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Proficiency with Java (Cucumber), Python (Spark), REST, and Playwright frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS), APIs, event‑driven architectures, and databases.
Desirable
- AWS / Azure cloud services experience.
- Low‑latency, high‑throughput systems expertise.
- Large‑scale databases.
- Deployment pipelines knowledge.
- Jira & Confluence familiarity.
- Docker, Git, Maven skills.
