The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

This role supports the organization by delivering customer networks, platforms, and systems in relation to power and connectivity in support of ourselves and special customers. Location: Ipswich or Glasgow. Onsite, 5 days a week, Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hours per week. DV Security Clearance required. Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

What you'll be doing

  • Accountable: Establish technical objectives and delegate responsibilities.
  • Leadership: Influences a significant part of own organization and influences customers/suppliers and industry at a senior management level (e.g., resourcing of delivery teams and technical direction of work).
  • Leadership: Directs work resourcing, owns site issues and resolves problems.
  • Leadership: Performs technical coaching and mentoring.

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of Transmission Network and management platforms.
  • Network installation, integration, and testing.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple concurrent projects, perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to clearly capture requirements.
  • Good relationship management skills with a dedicated and positive attitude.

What we'd like to see on your CV

  • Installation in compliance with the UK Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and associated regulations.
  • Upgrade and decommission of Mechanical & Electrical equipment.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and repair of Mechanical & Electrical equipment installed on GSE sites, including reactive repair and ensuring compliance with the PPM requirements.
  • Identification and repair of any faults during planned maintenance.
