At Leonardo, we have an opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join our Supportability team. The Supportability function has a unique position within our business as it is involved in all the stages of a programme, from initial development, production, customer support and repairs, and eventually disposal. We are looking to speak to anyone with an understanding of circuit diagrams and component selection.
What you’ll do:
- Working within Integrated Project Teams on Leonardo's upcoming Radar projects.
- Analysing electronic designs to determine and model product Reliability.
- Influencing design through Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability analysis.
- Creating and maintaining Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA).
What we need from you:
Ideally, you will have an Honours degree in Electronics Engineering or a science-based discipline, and you will have worked in industry, defence, or have other relevant experience.
Security Clearance:
This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
