Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of modern Azure data platforms, helping clients transform complex data into valuable business insight.
- Work closely with stakeholders, engineers and architects to create secure, scalable solutions that support long-term growth and innovation.
- Help shape cloud strategies, promote best practice, mentor colleagues and contribute to technical leadership across CGI's growing data community.
- Design scalable Azure data architectures.
- Develop enterprise data strategies and roadmaps.
- Build secure, high-performing data platforms.
- Drive data governance and best practice.
- Implement CI/CD and modern data engineering approaches.
- Collaborate with clients and technical teams.
- Mentor and support colleagues.
- Contribute to bids, innovation and solution design.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Strong Azure data architecture experience who enjoys solving complex challenges and working collaboratively with clients and delivery teams.
- Experience as a Data Architect within enterprise environments.
- Strong data modelling and database design expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Power BI.
- Knowledge of Azure security, governance and compliance.
- Experience designing scalable cloud data platforms.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
- Azure AI or Data Scientist certification.
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
