About the role
This role delivers 24x7 support and managed data services that keep our customers connected and running at their best. You’ll work with industry-leading technologies and proven processes to provide reliable, high-quality services that make a real impact. It’s a great fit for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Please note you must either hold or be eligible for SC (Security Clearance) & NPPV 3 Clearance for this role, which will require a minimum of 5 years working history in the UK to be eligible.
What you’ll be doing
- Resolve incidents, service requests, changes, and problems across the Data Services portfolio in line with SLAs
- Manage and communicate customer issues effectively, including escalation to vendors and stakeholder updates
- Collaborate across teams to deliver timely resolutions and maintain service quality
- Support continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, training, and development of tools and processes
- Contribute to 24x7 service delivery, including on-call support, proactive infrastructure maintenance, and SME responsibilities
Essential Skills / Experience
- Experience working in a systems integrator or managed support environment as a technical engineer
- Industry certification such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP (or vendor equivalent)
- Knowledge of Data Services technologies, BMS products, and customer IT systems and applications
- Experience contributing across the service lifecycle, including supporting and shaping technical solutions
- Ability to identify and drive service improvements and transformation initiatives
- Effective organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills, with a focus on ownership and follow-through
